Two teenage boys were punched and robbed of their mobile phones in Weston-super-Mare.
The youngsters, aged 16 and 17, were walking home after playing football near the Landing Lights pub when they were attacked in Moor Lane.
A cyclist stopped them, threatened the pair and punched both teenagers before riding off with their mobile phones.
The attack happened at about 10.15pm on May 22.
Police have this morning (Tuesday) launched a public appeal for information.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, but has been released under investigation.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary however want to speak to two teenage girls who they feel may be able to help with their enquiries.
A spokesman said: “We believe the two teenage girls pictured, who were in the skatepark area near to The Campus, may have seen the incident or have useful information to help our enquiries.
“We would like them, or anyone recognising them to call us on 101, quoting reference 5217114583.”
