1.50pm. 02.01.08- MAJOR delays are starting to clear on the M5 after fuel from a tanker leaked onto the carriageway. The lorry was in a collision with a car at about 9.50am this morning (Wed) and lane one of the northbound side of the motorway had to be closed.
MAJOR delays are starting to clear on the M5 after fuel from a tanker leaked onto the carriageway.
The lorry was in a collision with a car at about 9.50am this morning (Wed) and lane one of the northbound side of the motorway had to be closed.
Police and the Highways Agency helped clear the vehicles off the road and the lane was opened again at 11.50am.
A warning is now going out to drivers to be aware there still may be delays and a back-log of traffic around the Burnham and Bridgwater junctions.
