9.15am 18.02.08 THREE men are due to appear in court this morning charged with the assault of Gareth Avery.
They were arrested in connection with the incident which took place in Weston during the early hours of February 9.
Daniel Fawcett, aged 20, and two teenagers aged 16 and 17 will appear at North Somerset Courthouse this morning.
Mr Avery, aged 48, was found after police were called to Severn Avenue at around 2am on February 9 following reports of a loud disturbance.
When they arrived they discovered a man on the pavement. He had serious head and facial injuries.
The victim was taken to Weston General Hospital but was later transferred to the Bristol Royal Infirmary, where he received treatment for a fractured jaw, cheek bone and lacerations to his face and head.
