With Glastonbury Festival enjoying a fallow year this summer, an alternative event was held in Somerset.

Glasto Brean took place across three days – from Friday to Sunday – at Brean’s Beachcomber pub and featured music, games, children’s activities and food vendors.

Entertainment came from Rolling Stones tribute band The Stones, Stilo Antico, Scott Wilkes and Chasing Mumford among others.

Organiser Mike Harris said: “Our mini-festival was great fun, we had a good turnout and despite the weather not being ideal, everyone got into the festival spirit to make it an enjoyable weekend.

“The live music included some really talented bands and singers from the area.

“It was a brilliant atmosphere and we are pleased with the positive comments from those who came along.”
