An indoor play centre has raised some crucial funds and hosted a party for Children’s Hospice South West.

Brean Play, in Coast Road, handed over a cheque for £200 to the hospice as part of its charity campaign over the winter period.

For every hot drink purchased in November and December, 10p was donated to the worthy cause, with the presentation taking place this week.

As well as this, 10 children were also treated to a free Christmas party at the centre.

Kieran Spottiswoode, director of Brean Play, said: “It was our chance to raise some money for this important charity but also to get those from the charity to have some fun.”
