Weston Crusaders' under-10s football team took part in a street clean-up to 'give something back' to the town and raise funds in the process.

The team cleaned up the outside of the One Stop shop in Locking Road and are hoping to take on more projects in Weston.

Lee Loveridge, who is the head coach of the under-10s team told the Mercury he wants the children to feel good about themselves.

He said: “It was just brilliant and I want the children to know they are doing something good. It looks so much better there now. If anyone knows anywhere which needs clearing up let us know on our Crusaders Facebook page.”
