IF YOU think you could be the next big name in showbusiness you now have the chance to prove your skills to a bunch of talent-spotters who could put you on prime-time TV.

The production team for the hit ITV show Britain’s Got Talent is coming to the Blakehay Theatre in Weston to look for a range of fresh talent for the new series. The popular show is hosted by TV mogul Simon Cowell and regularly attracts millions of viewers.

A spokesman for the theatre, which is based in Wadham Street, said: “If you have a talent that you would like to share, no matter how big or small, then they would love to see you.”

To register for an audition at the Blakehay, email Becky.Robinson@thames.tv with details of your act.

Include in your email any video links you may have, as well as your name, age and telephone number.

If you are successful a member of the team will be in touch to register your application.

All ages and performers can apply but anyone under the age of 18 has to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to an audition and have their consent.
