Bristol Airport has confirmed all flights to Brussels have been cancelled until tomorrow (Wednesday) morning in the wake of several explosions in the Belgian capital.
The airport said passengers should contact individual airlines for details of specific flights, but added that other flights will run as normal.
It comes after there were two explosions in the departure lounge of Brussels Airport at around 7am this morning.
A total of 13 people are believed to have been killed and at least 30 injured, according to local media.
A Bristol Airport spokesman said: “Due to Brussels Airport closure all flights to and from Brussels are cancelled until 0600h Wednesday 23 March 2016. Passengers are advised to contact their airline directly. All other flights from Bristol Airport are operating as normal.
“Airport staff and police are maintaining high levels of vigilance and additional security patrols and measures are in place.”
