ANTICIPATION for the RNLI's world record attempt is beginning to bubble with excitement.
Peter Elmont, chairman of the Weston RNLI fundraising team has 3,500 bubble pots in his garage in Weston.
The pots are to be used for the world record attempt of having the largest amount of people blowing bubbles off a seaside pier in the world on August 1.
Although the attempt is not recognised officially by the Guinness World Records, it is believed by the RNLI to be the largest numbers of people attempting it off a seaside pier.
Peter said: “We will take the bubbles to the entrance of the Grand Pier and we will sell and hand them out.
“It would be great if we sold them all.”
The RNLI will be handing out the bubbles from 9.30am on August 1, with the attempt taking place at 10am.
