FILMMAKERS are looking for budding actors to star in a production to be filmed in Weston.

Hollywood actress Nadia Cameron-Blakey, and her co-producer Sophie Venner will be holding casting sessions for Saline this weekend.

The team behind the short film said it was 'thrilled' at the support it has received from Westonians and will recommend the resort to other filmmakers.

Weston Operatic Society will help the team behind the short film by cooking for the cast and crew while they are filming on set from February 27 to March 3.

Nadia said: "It doesn't sound very Hollywood but as we are on such a tight budget and catering is a huge expense, it makes a world of difference to be met with this kind of support.

"Now I need a big freezer to store the meals in."

The Seaward Hotel's owner, Sophia Michael, has agreed to put up the crew during their stay and the producers have found interior locations to use.

The casting will take place on Saturday at The Blakehay, in Wadham Street, from 1-3pm. If you can help, email the team on salineshortfilm@gmail.com
