musical: Budding musicians will have the opportunity to develop their talents thanks to a new centre in Worle.

Operating at Castle Batch Primary School on Thursday evenings, the new musical facility allows access to a big band, brass ensemble, clarinet choir, double reed ensemble, junior orchestra and a ukulele and guitar group.

The new Rawlins Avenue centre is an expansion of North Somerset Music Service’s ensemble provision.

Until now the music service has operated centres in Backwell and Clevedon on Saturday mornings and run other ensembles in the evenings within the area.

Anyone interested in learning more about the new centre can call 01934 426430.
