BUDDING politicians in Highbridge got the chance to quiz an MP on Friday. Pupils at King Alfred School were paid a visit by Wells constituency member of parliament, David Heathcoat-Amory on Friday.
BUDDING politicians in Highbridge got the chance to quiz an MP on Friday.
Pupils at King Alfred School were paid a visit by Wells constituency member of parliament, David Heathcoat-Amory on Friday.
The MP was given a tour of the school and met headteacher Dr Keith Duffy, staff and pupils and took part in a lively question and answer session.
Mr Heathcoat-Amory said: "I was very impressed with the pupils' knowledge of political issues. It was very enjoyable and I offered to return when a general election is called.
