A MAN who forced his way into a Weston home and stole paperwork which allowed him to withdraw 'a large sum of cash' from a nearby bank is being hunted by police.
Investigating officers have issued the photograph above and are appealing for help to identify the man pictured, as they believe he could help with inquiries.
The appeal comes after a burglary was committed at a home in Shrubbery Avenue between 9.30am and noon on April 25.
The incident saw an intruder force his way into the property and take cheque books and a passport.
He then made his way to a nearby bank and used the documents to withdraw a substantial amount of money.
The crook later returned to the bank and tried to obtain a second quantity of cash.
However, the clerk became suspicious and the man left, leaving the passport and cheque books behind.
Witnesses say the man had a Midlands regional accent, possible from Birmingham.
Anyone who recognises the man in the picture, or who has other information about the incident, is urged to call Weston CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 41161/14.
