POLICE in Burnham and Highbridge are working with a biking shop to get cyclists marked using police-recognised methods.

Skidmarx Cycles, in Church Street, Highbridge, is working with Avon and Somerset Police in security marking bikes to help prevent them being stolen, and to get them back to their owners if they are.

Claire Finch, a spokesman for the police, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Skidmarx Cycles for their assistance with this very worthwhile scheme. By working in partnership with Skidmarx a member of public can now access this service during shop opening hours with no appointment necessary”.
