Volunteers celebrated the Great British Beach Clean weekend by taking part in three beach cleans.
Litter picks were held on beaches in Berrow, Burnham and Brean from September 15-16.
More than 40 people collected rubbish across the three beaches, filling around 60 sacks with waste.
The cleans form part of a series of events all around the Severn Estuary as part of organisers Litter Free Somerset’s Spruce Up The Severn campaign.
A spokesman for the group said: “Beach cleans are a fantastic way of seeing the problem first hand, now we are faced with everyday items mounting up.
“If we all do our bit, both at home and on the beach, we can make a huge difference to our coastlines.
“Thanks to everyone who volunteered across the weekend.”
