A GREEN area of Burnham has been spruced up by Sedgemoor District Council.
A new fence has been installed in Manor Gardens, which is black with bow-top metal railings.
The barriers at the opening have also been repainted.
The area behind the office building in the gardens has been improved by removing the stone flowerbed edging and replacing it with concrete kerbs.
The bed will be replanted with shrubs in the winter.
New litter bins and dog-waste bins have also been installed and new seating has been ordered.
