A Burnham charity has been awarded a grant to host mental health training courses for students in the area.

In Charley’s Memory is a charity which was set up in memory of Charley Marks, who died in 2014.

Thanks to funds from Burnham and Highbridge Town Council and Sedgemoor District Council, two courses will now be held for students, including those who attend Charley’s former school King Alfred, in Highbridge.

The aim is to get young people talking about mental health.
