Dragons and flags littered the streets of Burnham-on-Sea as the town celebrated St George’s Day.
More than 50 children took part in a patriotic procession along High Street performing as dancers and drummers.
Mayor Bill Hancock, mayoress Frances Hancock and the town’s deputy mayor Andy Brewer led the parade.
It was organised by the Burnham Events Social Team (BEST) for the second year running.
Members of Burnham’s cubs and scouts, drummers from the Tiso group and BEST volunteers all took part.
A spokesman for BEST said: “It was a successful day.
“Seeing the children dress up and having support from spectators who cheered them on and waved their St George’s flags was fantastic.
“This event is in its second year so we hope to build on it and make it bigger next year.”
