A BURNHAM youngster and her four-legged friend have been short-listed for a national award.
Steph Jeffries and her labrador Kimmy have entered the Dogs Trust Honours 2008.
Kimmy has been short-listed for the Quality of Life award, which recognises the achievements of dogs who have helped people living with a disability or serious medical condition.
Steph, aged 11, was born with cerebral palsy and spent much of her time in a wheelchair. Since the arrival of Kimmy almost two years ago, Steph has gained confidence, takes her puppy for walks and no longer uses her wheelchair.
