STAFF from a number of Weston businesses raced each other in go-carts and took on a treasure hunt to raise almost £2,000 for one of the town's biggest charities.
The men and women took part in Operation Hospice Heroes to raise £1,700 for Weston Hospicecare.
The HSBC team took the overall winning title, but there was stiff competition from 4 Networking and Weston College.
The event challenged businesses to battle it out on mental and physical challenges including petrol go-cart racing at Premier Leisure in Weston, treasure hunting, Honda buggy pilots as well as a simulated bomb disposal.
Sarah-Jane Lewis, from Weston College, said: “It was an excellent team building experience and great to meet new people, while raising money for Weston Hospicecare.”
