Two colleagues from an estate agents in Weston-super-Mare braved new heights to raise money for charity.

Diane Hearle and Tom Tilsley from Bloxham and Barlow Estate Agents took part in an abseil down Uphill Quarry in aid of Weston Hospicecare.

Director Chris Bloxham said: “I am very proud of both members of staff who had no hesitation in agreeing to take on the challenge and am pleased that we raised so much money for this worthy cause.

“Other members of staff were at hand to provide morale-boosting support and I am sure a few of them will have no hesitation in answering the call again.

“Everyone is aware of how much Weston Hospicecare does for the community and it was great to be a part of the experience which was a fantastic achievement by all.”

Diane said: “Abseiling down Uphill quarry is an experience that will stay with me for a long time. I was so glad I plucked up the courage to do it.”
