A CONGRESBURY pub could be set to undergo refurbishment.
The Ship And Castle in High Street has applied for planning permission to renovate the interior and make changes to the rear.
Part of the bar will be removed to allow extra seating, a covered storage area will be created along with an extra covered smoking and seating area – if North Somerset Council grants planning permission.
The pub underwent a £200,000 refurbishment programme in 2012 after Mezze Restaurants took it over.
