A service which supports elderly patients with dementia has been awarded an accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Staff at the Burnham Memory Assessment Service offer assessment, diagnosis, treatment and support to people suffering with dementia who are living in and around the Burnham area.
The service was presented with an ‘excellence’ status award, which is only gifted after a number of service reviews and when staff can demonstrate high standards.
