A CLUB has been granted a new liquor licence by North Somerset Council following a meeting.
Wrington Sports and Social Club in Silver Street will be allowed to serve alcohol between 10am and midnight following the decision taken by the council’s licensing sub-committee.
It did previously have a licence but needed to reapply for a new one following a change in management.
The committee stated signs asking people to leave quietly must be put up as one of the conditions. It also ruled somebody must check outside that any music played does not disturb residents.
The complex currently houses a skittle alley, changing rooms and is situated near the village’s football and cricket pitches, tennis courts and children’s play area.
