WESTON’S longest-working barber has moved from his old shop in Dolphin Square, and joined a new business
John Morley, 74, has been a barber since 1951, and opened his first salon in 1964. Having worked in the indoor market at Dolphin Square for 15 years, he has joined the Barber Company in The Centre.
He said: “It’s not very far away from where I was before, so my old customers won’t have to go far.
“I’ve worked in quite a few different barber shops and salons, and this is definitely more modern, but it’s nice to be able to start something a little bit different and new.”
