THE Business Enterprise Centre has revealed that business is booming despite the economic downturn.
The centre, which is part of Weston College, saw a 56 per cent growth in the number of employees on the Train to Gain Government-funded scheme it offered in the South West during 2007/2008, compared to the previous year.
The Business Enterprise Centre works with more than 1,000 businesses and organisations, supporting them to achieve significant improvements in overall performance by helping them maximise the skills of their employees.
