A TOTAL of 18 apprentices from salons in the area competed for the three top prizes at Upper Cut Training’s annual apprenticeship competition.
Those who showed they were a cut above the rest included Caprice Dudbridge from Head Up Salon, who won the level two prize and Jodie-Leigh Whittle, who won the level three prize.
Joint winners of the Weston business’s second year level two prize were Abbie Allen and Kelly Smith, both of Upper Cut Salon in Baker Street.
Paige Snelling, of The Cut, and Laura Nemeth, of Upper Cut Salon, were awarded special prizes for their inspirational work.
