After weeks of preparation, the foundations at Weston’s Dolphin Square site have been laid, sparking hopes that structures will appear at the site in the coming weeks.
Work started on the long-overdue Carlton Street site in November and is progressing in a timely fashion, according to developer McLaren Life. A pension fund also invested £18million in the scheme in January.
The £45million project will include a Cineworld cinema, restaurants such as Pizza Express, Nando’s, Prezzo and Mimosa and an indoor climbing centre when it opens next year.
