WESTON’S chamber of commerce is holding an open meeting next week and is inviting interested people to go along.
The meeting will be held at The Royal Hotel on January 25 at 7pm, and the speakers will include the town’s former mayor Phil Judd, who will be talking about the Heroes Welcome scheme for members of the armed forces.
The other speaker will be Simon Gregory from North Somerset Council, who will discuss how the authority is marketing Weston to potential investors, and the presentation will be followed by an open forum on how the council can improve its marketing.
