Weston-super-Mare’s newest gym will open next week, and the Mercury has been given a sneak peek.
Anytime Fitness will open at Dolphin Square on Monday, offering 24-hour access to exercise facilities at the leisure complex.
The gym boasts an extensive range of facilities, including on-demand video classes, individual changing rooms and a massage area.
Hundreds of people have already signed up during a ‘successful’ pre-sale period, according to general manager Graham Clark.
He told the Mercury: “A 24-hour gym is what Weston has been screaming out for years.
“People who work nights won’t be able to go to a gym because of the closing times, so members can come in and train whenever they want.
“We have five fully-qualified and experienced members of staff who are all excited by the new venture and working with members to meet their fitness goals.
“Dolphin Square is a fantastic place to be based, and we’ve got a great working relationship with our neighbours. We will all work together to make Weston a great place to be.
“It’s been a long haul, and a lot of work has gone into it – but I’m certain it will all be worth it.”
