A WESTON carer received an award for her outstanding work supporting people.
Carrieanne West was nominated by the mother of a young man she supports at the Hilltop residential home in Oldmixon Crescent, which helps people with autism.
Kim Parsons was also nominated for care home manager for her work with Weston-based Caring For Autism and attended the event at Bath Racecourse.
Eastenders star Rudolph Walker, who plays Patrick Trueman in the soap, presented the awards.
