ONE North Somerset firm celebrated its 50th birthday by receiving a prestigious award.
Blagdon-based organic dairy company Yeo Valley was recently handed its third Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development by Lady Gass, Lord Lieutenant of Somerset.
The firm had previously won the gong in 2001 and 2006, and it was handed out in recognition of the company’s commitment to organic farming, and its support for local farmers.
