Proprietor Martin Carwardine, whose family have been associated with coffee since the mid-19th century, said: “We are enormously proud to have received these awards, which we feel are a recognition and acknowledgement of the quality of our products.

“All our coffees are freshly roasted by hand using traditional flame roasting methods and we aim to produce drinks of the highest quality.

“It’s particularly pleasing to know that of the many coffee entries, we only submitted two ourselves and only a handful were selected for any kind of recognition.”
