A MOTHER-OF-TWO is starting her own business to tackle fussy eating in children after having a brainwave.
Sally Marks, of Banwell, created the reward board, aimed at helping the parents of children aged two to six to use encouragement for potty training, bedtime routines, fussy eating and bad behaviour.
She said: “I’d tried downloading reward charts from the internet, star charts, all sorts.
“One day I thought ‘I could do better than this’. I’m a graphic designer by trade so I created a mock-up and started using it with my own children. I also began work on an app to allow the board to be used outside of the home.”
Sally is working on getting the board available on the app store.
