A GROUP of Worle men and women are taking part in a four-hour bike ride to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity event has been organised by waste management firm Sita UK, which has a branch based in Parkway.
The company aims to raise £50,000 with the 2,400-mile cross-country cycle tour, as members of staff travel in relays from Aberdeen to Cornwall.
The route has been designed to include as many of the company’s branches as possible and include 300 members of staff.
Worle fleet administrator Gareth Searle said: “I am taking part as it is for a good cause, a few people I know have suffered from cancer and it is a challenge for me.”
