THE owner of a book people franchise has donated 24 copies of a limited print run paperback to Weston Hospicecare to celebrate World Book Night.
Dawn Wood, of Worlemoor Road, runs the local Book People company and joined thousands of others in donating books to good causes.
Julie Francis, out patient services team leader at the hospice, said: “Reading is a form of escapism and is really important for our patients and carers so that they can take time out from their illness and think about other things.”
