WINSCOMBE’S Co-Operative branch has pledged financial support for this year’s village Michaelmas Fair.
The event will be held on Saturday at the community centre in Sandford Road, and Co-Op store manager Tom Hartley has presented a donation of �500 to go towards the event to members of the community association.
He said: “As a community retailer we are committed to making a difference where it matters to local people, and having seen just how much difference our donation made last year, we were more than happy to get involved again this year.”
