A FAST food restaurant has offered a helping hand to villagers wanting to clear their roads.
Bosses at McDonalds of Winterstoke Road have donated florescent jackets and workers to pick rubbish from the A370 through Hewish.
It followed a call to restaurants in Weston to help clear the road of fast food wrappers.
The council has organised the litter pick to take place on April 10. Anyone who wants to help should meet at the Full Quart car park at 10am.
