FOOD businesses in Sedgemoor had the opportunity to enter best-selling sausages into a tasty sausage competition.
Sedgemoor District Council’s Environmental Health Department ran an information course for food premises about the new E Coli guidance, looking at how businesses can control E Coli effectively.
The event, held at the Princess Theatre in Burnham was well attended by 30 representatives from 20 businesses across the district. The winner of the best-selling sausage was from Colin Reasons Quality Meats, in Pawlett.
