FAKE publishing houses are charging hundreds of pounds, leaving businesses in North Somerset out of pocket.
The shark companies charge to print leaflets, brochures and booklets, but often leave firms with nothing, or a publication that was not agreed, according to North Somerset Trading Standards.
Officers are warning business owners, managers and staff to be wary of scams, which often use telephone calls and post to target victims.
