A COMMUNITY group raising money for charity handed over a cheque for more than £7,000.
The Broad Community Trust, set up by Michael Dean and the owners of Broad St Hair and Ebdon Arms pub, held a ball to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and presented the charity with £7,700.70.
The kitty will be further boosted by a real ale festival held at the Ebdon Arms in Lilac Way, Wick St Lawrence, at the weekend.
The event will feature live music and a family fun day, with a bouncy castle, Easter egg hunt and barbecue.
