DISADVANTAGED children across the world are set to receive Christmas gifts following a collection by a Weston business.
Brunel Ford in Winterstoke Road has taken part in Operation Christmas Child to make sure all corners of the world have something to cheer about on Christmas Day.
Nationwide more than 8,500 boxes have been collected which will go to children in hospitals, orphanages or refuge camps.
Guy Smithyman, general manager at Brunel Ford said: “This is the seventh year that we have taken part in this appeal and we are delighted that we could help bring a little bit of extra happiness to so many children.
“It’s such a great cause and we would like to thank everyone who donated a shoebox and made this year a success.”
