WESTON Hospicecare is celebrating after receiving funding from The Screwfix Foundation, a charity which helps to fix, repair, and improve facilities for those in need.
The hospice provides specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The £600 bursary will be used to refurbish its in-patient kitchen.
Hospicecare chief executive Gill Auden said: “We are so grateful to the foundation for donating these essential funds to the hospice. Anything that improves the comfort of our patients is extremely important.
“We’d like to thank all those who were involved in the fundraising, as it will make a real difference to everyone at the hospice.”
