quiz: A pub in Congresbury has won �500 for charity after winning a live televised quiz.
The Ship and Castle in High Street took part in a TV contest known as Pub Heroes which is aired on digital channels 189 and 166.
The winning pub in the quiz scoops �1,000 for charity and as the pub team came joint first it won �500 for Weston Hospicecare.
General manager Kelvin Wills said: “We compete every month for a different charity and we would like to get more people involved as this would help us win again and help another charity with �1000.”
