STAFF at Cheddar Costa Coffee dressed in fancy dress and offered face painting for customers to raise money for Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue.
The team raised £150 for the service which is staffed by volunteers and relies of public donations.
James Simmons, manager at Cheddar Costa, said: “It was a great day. We had a lot of fun and raised money for a great cause. It was brilliant to see Cheddar Gorge buzzing with visitors, enjoying our event and the Easter egg hunt in the caves.”
The next event will take place on May 6 with activities for families with proceeds going to local charities.
