A team of 10 employees from a Yatton firm has scaled the three highest mountains in Wales, raising almost £2,000.
Costain’s John Corlett, Billy Sheppard, Neelesh Chavan, Ben Barker, Slawomir Lesniewski, Sabrina Rayfield, Manuel Benitez Sanchez, Kushagra Bhargava, James Ruffle and Martin Gillard undertook the challenge.
They climbed Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge saw the team power through blisters, cramp, sweat and exhaustion to complete the task in little more than 17 hours.
A Costain spokesman said: “The team managed to raise a total of £1,865 for CHSW to support life-limited children and their families.
“The funds will help support children who are living with a life-limiting condition which sadly means that they are not expected to reach adulthood.”
