A DANCE and drama school in Weston is opening a new studio for the beginning of classes this year.

Bosses at Studio Fifty Five have been busy putting the final touches to the classes venue in Churchill Road this month.

Owners Carla Dakin and Marina Fairheard say the aim of the new studio is to make dance more accessible to the public.

Ms Dakin said: “We are unbelievably excited about the launch of Studio Fifty Five and the opportunities it will bring to so many people, especially those who have never really danced.

“There are so many elitist barriers attached to dance, we’ve attempted to completely break them down by offering a diverse timetable that caters for mum and babies, right through to our current students who are looking to take their careers further in dance.”
