BLAGDON’S traders will get in the Christmas spirit to at a festive shopping evening on December 2.
Everyone from the butcher, ready to take orders for the Christmas turkey, to Fanny Adams with her local crafts, are set to be open for business.
As part of the evening, which runs from 6pm-8pm, collections will be made for Weston Hospicecare, while proceeds will also be raised through the sale of charity Christmas cards.
There will also be mulled wine, mince pies and roasted chestnuts for shoppers to tuck into, while a band of singers will hopefully be performing around the village Christmas tree.
