NORTH Somerset Enterprise Agency is holding an employing people seminar to help new businesses in their early years.

It is designed to help small companies to negotiate their way through the potential minefield of employment legislation and will look at staff recruitment and retention, dismissal and contracts of employment.

It will be held on March 4 from 9.30am-4.30pm at the North Somerset Enterprise Agency's offices in Oldmixon Crescent, Weston.

Subsidised by the enterprise agency the seminar will cost �10 plus VAT for businesses that are trading and is free for those businesses that have yet to start up.

People considering setting up in business either as a sole trader, partnership or limited company are invited to a let's talk starting in business seminar on March 6.

The seminar will cover a wide range of business topics including how to write a good business plan, sourcing finance, managing cash flow, taxation and VAT and marketing.

With sponsorship from Barclays Bank the event is free to delegates and will run from 9.30am-4pm at the agency's offices.
