RECENT snowfall has not stopped work continuing apace in Dolphin Square this month.
Demolition of the 1960s precinct began at the start of January with the main shops being reduced to rubble.
Kevin Clement, site manager for McLaren Life, said the next phase will see the council’s Somerset House building demolished before continuing to work round the site and ending with the block of flats that overlook it.
The £45million regeneration project will see various restaurant chains move in, including Harvester, Nandos and Pizza Express, as well as First Bowl and Vue Cinemas.
Demolition work is expected to be completed by the end of April or the first few weeks of May.
